The Arctic Traits Database and all its associated web pages do not collect / retain any personal data. However, when you access this website, your browser sends some information to the serer. The University of Vienna, to be compliant with Austrian legislation (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO), may retain the following information for maximally 30 days:

• IP address
  
• Date and time of access
  
• Name and URL of the accessed file
  
• Transmitted data volume
  
• Information on success of transmission
  
• Information on browser and operating system of the user
  

While the IP address could theoretically be linked to identifying information, the University of Vienna does not exploit this information or use it in any other way (e.g. marketing) than ensuring the functionality of the servers and IT infrastructure. The data are not stored permanently on the servers and users can not opt-out of this. Thus, when you use this website you automatically agree to these terms.

This website does not use cookies and no information is sent to third parties. No social media links or tools are used, neither are any tools for website analytics or advertisements.
